They tweet in bed. They tweet in Israel. They tweet about wanting to be left alone.
And now Ashton Kutcher is explaining why he's so obsessed with the Twitter, saying his messages to wife Demi Moore are a "modern whisper in your lover's ear."

"Whether you like it or not, the digital age has produced a new format for modern romance, and natural selection may be favoring the quick-thumbed quip peddler over the confident, ice-breaking alpha-male," Kutcher pens in the latest issue of Harper's Bazaar.
He goes on to describe his "sweet nothing" tweets as the eqivalent of "flowers to the office."
"Sending sweet nothings on Twitter and Facebook is also fun," he explains. "In some ways, it's no different than sending flowers to the office: You are declaring your love for everyone to see."
He also admits it's partly for the attention.
"Who doesn't like to be publicly adored?" he asks, adding a wise warning. "Just remember that what you post is out there and there's some stuff you can't unsee."
"But the reality is that we communicate with every part of our being, and there are times when we must use it all. When someone needs us, he or she needs all of is. There's no text that can replace a loving touch when someone we love is hurting."
Kutcher says that romance isn't completely lost in the digital age, we just may be neglecting it.
"The power of a handwritten letter is greater than ever. It's personal and deliberate and means more than an email or text ever will. It has a unique scent."
A penned missive may have a certain scent to Kutcher, but we can smell a tweet from him coming any minute now.
