Look out, Ryan Seacrest: Some radio listeners just might be ready to wake up to the dulcet tones of...Bristol Palin?!

Sarah Palin's most famous spawn is clearly serious about putting her past behind her, what with having scored herself a new house and a new man in the past month.

So could a new (and quite surprising) job be far behind?

Not if the management of an Arizona station has their say, since the good people over at Phoenix's Mix 96.9 extended what they're now defending as a fully legit offer to the former Dancing With the Stars hoofer to cohost their morning show.

"A little lightbulb went off in my head," the station's director, Ron Price, told Fox News. "If she wants to learn journalism and she's moving to town, let's offer her a job. Not only has she been on Dancing With the Stars, and I think you saw the rating success there, but she's a public speaker, she commands fees for speaking, so I think she could hold her own on the radio."

Palin herself discussed the prospective career path while chatting with The Bob and Mark Show on Anchorage's KWHL 106.5 (aka, her possible future competition) last week.

"I'm working on a few different projects," she told the station, going on to mention the possible FM gig. "It's not an interview, I'm just going to meet with them and see if it's actually legitimate and see if I would like the guy I would be on air with."

That guy would be current morning man Matthew Blades, who certainly appears to be hopeful about the possibility, as Blades publicly stated that Bristol "seems interested."

In other words, listen to this space.
