Are Ross and Rachel still together? Imagining where the 'Friends' are 10 years later

Tuesday marks the 10-year anniversary of the "Friends" series finale. It's hard to believe it's been two decades since we first met Monica, Chandler, Joey, Ross, Phoebe and Rachel — in her wedding gown — over coffee at Central Perk.

By the time viewers said farewell, half of the sextet were married and had added to their numbers with kids of their own.

So what are they up to now? If they accepted our Facebook "friend" request (and why not, after the 238 episodes we shared?), what would we likely see on their timelines?

Let's take a look through the yellow-framed peephole and see what might be there.

Ross and Rachel forever!Today

Rachel Green-Geller
First of all, Rachel is still rocking the most fabulous hair in the greater northeast region. And she can afford the best stylist in town: She's Ralph Lauren's chief commercial officer. After she chose Ross over Louis Vuitton and Paris, she swallowed her pride and begged for her old job back. She was especially motivated after the FAA imposed a hefty fine for that ruckus at the airport. Yes, you don't get a departing plane to open its doors — twice — without some repercussions. At least Rachel escaped a jail sentence, but only because her romantic gesture became the first-ever viral video. It was only natural that the Internet sensation would use her media savvy to rise in the ranks of the esteemed fashion house.

Rachel isn't the only one in the family working for Ralph Lauren: Her three daughters (look, considering Ross's strong swimmers, it's only surprising they didn't have more kids) are models for the designer's children's line. A star was born when baby beauty pageant winner Emma subbed at the last minute during a photo shoot. Now we can also see her sisters, Sandrine and James, in the Polo brand's catalog — overseen by their uncle Chandler, now an exec in Ralph Lauren's marketing department.

Ross Geller
Happily married for the fourth time (though it looks like his second go-round with Rachel will stick), Ross is even more famous than his YouTube-celebrity wife. Along with his 19-year-old (!) son Ben — a paleontology student at NYU — he discovered a new dinosaur species. The Gellersaurus has a permanent display at the New York Museum of Prehistoric History. Although they still live in Manhattan, Monica's older brother and his brood spend nearly every weekend in the suburbs with the Bings.

Awww ... remember when Chandler and Monica brought babies Jack and Erica home?Today

Monica Geller-Bing
Monica is the most popular mom in Westchester. She's president of the PTA, oversees a rigid carpooling schedule for the entire fifth grade, teaches an informal yoga class and shares her Ralph Lauren friends and family discount with all her neighbors. Although her mommy blog and YouTube cooking channel have huge followings, 10-year-old twins Erica and Jack know that they are always her first priority.

Chandler Bing
Erica and Jack's doting dad still works in city — as a marketing exec for Ralph Lauren — but he doesn't mind the commute to the 'burbs. Especially since his house has not one, not two, but three bathtubs! He really appreciates a nice soak after a rousing match of table tennis in his neighbor's garage — where he secretly stores his Ping-Pong table. (Deflecting Monica's competitive streak is one of the secrets to their successful marriage.) That also leaves plenty of room in the house for his man cave, where he can pretend to enjoy sports on his 60" TV when Joey comes to visit.

Who would've thought Joey's pick-up line would one day become the title of his talk show?Today

Joey Tribbiani
How you doin'? Thanks to "Joey" — the short-lived "Friends" spin-off — we stayed in touch with Dr. Drake Ramoray's alter ego after the series finale. Joey moved to L.A. to pursue his acting career, and — eventually — hit it big after the blockbuster action film "Captured."

He's still one of Hollywood's most eligible bachelors, but he never became a big star — unless you count his season on "Dancing With the Stars," his best gig after a few box-office bombs. (This is Joey, after all.) He managed to parlay his mirror-ball trophy into a new career: talk-show host. Check your local listings to find out when "How You Doin'?" airs in your area.

Phoebe's still crooning her tunes at Central Perk -- but now with her hubby and kids.Today

Phoebe Buffay-Hannigan
Phoebe is still making beautiful music with hubby Mike Hannigan. In fact, they are the modern-day equivalent of the Partridge Family, touring the country with their six tiny chubby children. From "Smelly Cat" to "Sticky Shoes" and "Grandma," the Family Buffay are performing all their hit songs at Central Perks across the country. (Didn't you hear? Gunther's franchise operation is almost bigger than Starbucks.) When Phoebe wants some alone time with her husband (he is Paul Rudd after all), teenage triplets Frank Jr. Jr., Leslie and Chandler are always happy to babysit.

And once in a while, you'll find Phoebe leading her old friends and roommates in a rousing rendition of the Rembrandts' "I'll Be There for You." No one told them life was gonna be this way, but everyone's pretty happy with the way things turned out in the end.
