Looks like Matt Damon and his wife are expecting a little girl.

The “Bourne Supremacy” star recently arrived in the Dominican Republic with his four months pregnant wife, Lucianne Bozan, to film “The Good Shepherd.”

Damon told reporters in Spanish that the child will be a girl, according to a local paper. “ ‘It [she] will be a girl,’ said Damon in Spanish,” noted El Caribe, according to a translation carried on a Damon fan site. “The actor has advanced in his classes thanks to his wife, who has dedicated herself to teaching him the language.” Damon's wife was born in Argentina.

Damon’s spokeswoman says she has no idea if there’s any truth to the story. “I don’t know,” she told The Scoop. “I haven’t spoken to him since he got married.”

Furry feud
The fur is flying between Mary J. Blige and PETA.

The R&B singer showed up for an interview with the London Mirror wearing a full-length fur.

“I got it from Roberto Cavalli, so it’s some kind of fur,” she told the paper. “But those PETA people don’t want to mess with me, they don’t want to throw paint on my coat because it’s not just gonna be throwing paint.  . . . Understand what I’m saying?”

“If Mary J. Blige would only find the courage to educate herself about the cruelty behind fur, we’re sure she would follow the lead of PETA pal Mariah Carey who, after receiving two pricey fur coats as gifts recently, re-sealed the box and sent them on to PETA for use in educational displays about fur cruelty,” a PETA rep told The Scoop. “Mary should also check in with Roberto Cavalli’s number one fan, Victoria Beckham, who has Cavalli re-make all of his furry designs into fabulous faux fur because she abhors the ‘real thing.’”

Notes from all overMichael Jackson is in talks with a company in Bahrain about being involved with “entertainment projects” in that country, according to the Gulf Daily News. The singer is reportedly in discussions with Ahmed Abubaker Janahi’s AAJ Holdings about “investments such as theme parks and musical academies” and will offer advice to “bolster the region’s music and entertainment sector.” . . . When Carey Hart married rocker Pink in Costa Rica recently, he reportedly had his jacket lined with silk screen images of his beloved.  . . .Gisele Bundchen, who recently split from longtime sweetie Leonardo DiCaprio, has dropped her talk of quitting modeling. “I don’t speak about retirement anymore because it changes all the time,” she told Folha de Sao Paulo. “The moment I don’t feel I don’t have any challenge as a model anymore I’ll stop. Models such as Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell are working beyond their 30s. I don’t know if I’ll get that far, but I can’t say I won’t be like them.”
