For months buzz has been building about a possible third film in the "Sex and the City" franchise, but will Carrie Bradshaw and her besties really get back together again on the big screen?
Cynthia Nixon, aka Miranda Hobbes in the series and movies, addressed the "SATC" sequel talk on TODAY Wednesday while promoting her current project, “The Real Thing” on Broadway.
"I hear the rumors, too, and I think it would be great if [director] Michael Patrick [King] had another one to write, and we were all free," she said.
Alas, Nixon couldn't confirm any solid plans, but she did offer hope.
"I think we would all be thrilled for the opportunity," she insisted.
Indeed, Nixon's co-star, Kristin Davis (the woman behind Charlotte York) recently told Meredith Vieira, "All of us want it to happen."
Until then, fans will just have to satisfy themselves with DVDs and TV reruns. As for Nixon, she won't be able to join in the boob-tube fun.
"I don't have TV in my house, so no, I don't [watch the series]," she told the anchors.
