Anna Faris pranks husband Chris Pratt with help from 'Officer' Ellen

Everything's going Chris Pratt's way these days. The actor had a major role in the summer's record-breaking blockbuster, "Guardians of the Galaxy"; he's already filmed his part in what's bound to be next summer's big hit, "Jurassic World"; and he's about to host the premiere episode of the 40th season of "Saturday Night Live."Good thing he's got wife Anna Faris to keep him grounded. Everything's going Chris Pratt's way these days. The actor had a major role in the summer's record-breaking blockbuster, "Guardians of the Galaxy"; he's already filmed his part in what's bound to be next summer's big hit, "Jurassic World"; and he's about to host the premiere episode of the 40th season of "Saturday Night Live."

Good thing he's got wife Anna Faris to keep him grounded. Faris recently joined forces with Ellen DeGeneres to deliver a little playful drama into her main man's life.

Pranksters Faris and DeGeneres acted out an elaborate scene for Pratt's voicemail, wherein Faris — near tears — told her husband she was about to be arrested.

"Ma'am, let's go!" DeGeneres ordered. "Put your clothes on and get out."

"The Ellen DeGeneres Show" studio audience deserves credit, too, for somehow keeping the laughs to a minimum for the sake of the prank.

Unfortunately, there's no video of Pratt's reaction to the gag, but maybe that's because he was too busy having his own fun with Jimmy Fallon on "The Tonight Show" Thursday night.

Check out their wacky round of Word Sneak.

You can see more from Pratt on "Saturday Night Live," with musical guest Anna Grande, Sept. 27 at 11:30 p.m. on NBC.
