Pamela Anderson is unhappy with the trashy sexpot wardrobe she was expected to wear on “Stacked,” says an associate, so she forked over the cash to pay for a different one.
The former Baywatch babe is upset because, according to the source, the folks behind the show want to put her in nothing but “skimpy wife beaters and ripped jeans.” The source adds “[the people behind the show] just wanted her to look like sex, but Pam wanted more ‘Sex and the City.’”
The insider says $25,000 was budgeted for Anderson’s wardrobe, but she dug into her own pocket to the tune of $100,000 to buy extra, more elegant clothes. With that money, Anderson practically “cleaned out” the Beverly Hills store of her designing friend, Stella McCartney, who like Anderson, is a staunch animal-rights activist and a member of PETA. “Anderson scooped up everything from cute sweaters and sexy dresses to Stella’s trademark vegan pumps," says the source.
On rumor patrolJake Gyllenhaal is denying those rumors that he used a body double in “Jarhead.”
As for those rumors that he’s bisexual, he denies them, too — but he hardly sounds upset about them.
“You know it’s flattering when there’s a rumor that says I’m bisexual,” the actor — who stars in “Brokeback Mountain,” which some are calling the gay cowboy movie — tells the December issue of Details. “It means I can play more kinds of roles. I’m open to whatever people want to call me. I’ve never really been attracted to men sexually, but I don’t think I would be afraid of it if it happened.”
Notes from all overKelly Osbourne is upset with Stavros Niarchos for that wild melee that broke out at her birthday party. "Paris's stupid boyfriend ruined my 21st birthday," Kelly told the London Mirror. "He trashed a hotel room, causing £60,000 [about $100,000] worth of damage, and the hotel had to be evacuated.” She says she refused to pay the bill and stuck shipping heir Niarchos with it because, she says, he caused the damage “and he’s a rich kid.” Osbourne adds: “Stavros isn't struck off our list of friends just yet. Him and Paris are madly in love, so there's nothing I can do about it." . . . Juliette Lewis isn’t fazed by scathing reviews of her punk rock band, Juliette and the Licks. “I'm unstoppable," she says. "My band is unstoppable.". . . . “Harry Potter” star Emma Watson says people who find the content of the films un-Christian keep sending her copies of The Bible. “I have a collection of about 20 in my room,” the 15-year-old actress told Life magazine. “People think I need to be guided."
