Just when it looked like Amy Winehouse was on the road to recovery, things came tumbling down again.
The soul-crooning Brit garnered was booed by a crowd in Serbia on Saturday, after a disastrous performance in which she apparently turned up late, forgot lyrics, wandered aimlessly onstage and generally did not knock 'em dead.
While her band, backup singers (and audience) attempted to fill in the blanks, the singer's lack of singing was ultimately too hard to ignore. That, and she apparently dropped the microphone.
Winehouse's reps called off her upcoming appearances in Instanbul and Athens next week, saying Winehouse "feels that this is the right thing to do" in light of her performance, according to USA Today.
"Despite feeling sure that she wanted to fulfill these commitments, she has agreed with management that she cannot perform to the best of her ability and will return home," her reps said in the statement.
News of Winehouse's failed performance comes just weeks after she checked herself out of the Priory Clinic a few days after checking in for treatment.
