'Tis the season our thoughts turn to Christmas trees, sparkling lights, presents wrapped to perfection and classic movies that celebrate all of that.
But according to Amazon, some of us get into the holiday season a whole lot more than others.
Using a unique metric — the number of holiday videos streamed via Amazon's Fire TV — the company has determined the most festive cities in the nation.
Merry Christmas, Salt Lake City! You're No. 1.
Here's the full top 10 list of holiday-loving towns:
- Salt Lake City, Utah
- Seattle, Washington
- Santa Clara, California
- Providence, Rhode Island
- Spokane, Washington
- Everett, Washington
- Minneapolis, Minnesota
- Alexandria, Virginia
- Tacoma, Washington
- Green Bay, Wisconsin
Those are the cities streaming the most Christmas programming, but what exactly are they streaming? Amazon has that all figured out, too.
Here's the top five list of what those festive folks have been watching:
- "Christmas Classics, Volume 1" — a collection of eight holiday movies, including "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer."
- "Dr. Seuss' How The Grinch Stole Christmas"
- "Arthur’s Perfect Christmas"
- "Elf"
- A Dr. Seuss combo video with "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" and the Whoville-related story "Horton Hears a Who"
