Up in the air? Duchess Kate appears to levitate in this photo
We've always suspected there was something magical about Kate Middleton. How else can you explain her always-smooth, humidity-defying, picture-perfect hair? But now, we might just have proof!
We've always suspected there was something magical about Kate Middleton. How else can you explain her always-smooth, humidity-defying, picture-perfect hair?
But now, we might just have proof!
A new photo of the duchess has royal watchers doing a double-take as she appears to be walking on air.
The pic, taken earlier this week at a service in France honoring the 100th anniversary of the Battle of the Somme, shows Prince William, Prince Harry and Prime Minister David Cameron walking alongside Kate. But while their feet are firmly on the ground, she's looks like she's levitating.
Of course, this isn't the first time Kate's been seen dabbling in the magical arts. In 2013, cameras caught her wielding a wand at the official opening of London's Warner Bros. studio.
William and Harry even joined in with a spell of their own.
Alas, those were just Harry Potter props, whereas this new levitation photo is obviously a real example of ... an optical illusion.
Yes, as much as we'd like to believe that the royal is even more fantastical than she seems, a closer examination of the shot shows that her dark shoes were simply playing a trick on the eye against the pale gravel underfoot.
Still no non-magical explanation for the hair though.
