As Tammy Faye Messner battles terminal cancer, make no mistake about it, she knows what the future will bring.

But despite her dire prognosis, Messner continues to have faith, as the world found out when she appeared on “Larry King Live” on July 19.

“So many people watching and listening care about you so much. What would you like to say to them?” King asked her.

“I’d like to say that I genuinely love you and I genuinely care and I genuinely want to see you in heaven one day,” the ailing Messner said. “I want you to find peace. I want you to find joy.”

“How much do you weigh now?” King asked.

“I weigh 65 pounds,” she revealed.

“That’s a five-pound gain from the last time,” King noted.

“I’m happy about that,” Messner said with a frail smile.

Her son Jay, from her marriage with Jim Bakker, also spoke with King on Thursday night.

“I still don’t get over, when I see her sick, it’s kind of a shock to see her so skinny,” Jay admitted.

“It’s a shock to me too,” King added.

Messner’s once-powerful lungs are now infected with inoperable cancer, but her positive outlook remains.

“I don’t have any date written on me anywhere that says I’m going to die at any certain time,” she noted.

“And you firmly believe that you’re going to heaven?” King asked.

“I know, for sure, for positive,” she said with an inspiring confidence.

Through it all, Messner’s sense of humor is as healthy as ever, as King found out.

“If you could have people remember you for one thing, what would it be?” King asked her.

“My eyelashes,” she laughed.

In the end, King might have said it best as he wrapped up his interview with Messner.

“If she’s 65 pounds, it’s all heart,” he said.
