Han Solo is getting a whole new life — and a new actor to play him.
Now that a "Star Wars" prequel film focusing on Han Solo is in the works (likely due out in 2018), there's one actor who definitely can't play the part: Harrison Ford.
That means Hollywood has a daunting task ahead. Which of the 'It' guys out there are cheeky and handsome and daring and charming enough to fill Ford's impressive boots? Who deserves to take the helm of both role and Millennium Falcon?
We think these guys could do it:
Anthony Ingruber
He's not exactly a household name, but he's already got a great Harrison Ford impersonation down, and he recently played a younger version of a character played by Ford in "The Age of Adaline."
Scott Eastwood
He's got his dad's man-of-action genes and his own seriously chiseled cheekbones, and Eastwood definitely has the chops for the part. Go ahead, casting directors. Make our day.
Grant Gustin
With a twinkle in his eye and some lovely dimples, the star of "The Flash" sets hearts racing. We could also see him bonding with Chewbacca when the time comes.
Kit Harington
OK, bear with us. Yes, he'd be an awesome Prince Charming. But we also could see him as a rough-and-ready rogue who'll blast us off into the stars. Yeah, he's British but we can work on these things.
Jaden Smith
At just 17, Smith is a young selection, but a good one! He's followed dad Will Smith's serious Sci-Fi footsteps in film's like "The Day the Earth Stood Still" and "After Earth," and there's no reason he couldn't follow Ford, too.
Sam Claflin
C'mon, who has puckish charm in bigger quantities than Claflin, the man also known as Finnick from "The Hunger Games"? As for his British accent? See Harington above.
Who do you think should go Solo? Let us know!
