You can't keep a good manatee down, so this one's returning to the wild

A year after arriving at the Cincinnati Zoo, 978-pound Florida manatee “Illusion” will return to the wild Nov. 9 as part of the US Fish & Wildlife Service’s Manatee Rescue program. She will remain on exhibit at the zoo until Nov. 8. The zoo says Illusion is the eighth sea cow to be rehabilitated at the zoo under the rescue-and-release program. Read more here.
