TODAY studio goes wild when a lemur gets frisky with TV star

Former "Saved by the Bell" and current "White Collar" star Tiffani Thiessen joined Willie, Al and Natalie to co-anchor at 9 a.m, but little did she know that a lemur named Bacari would try to double as her new hat.

Bacari is a ruffed lemur, which is the largest of more than 60 different varieties of the species. Al preferred that Bacari stay off of his head.

African ground hornbills spend a majority of their time on the ground, as the name implies, but Tufts decided to practice his flying on set.

But once Tufts was ready to rest, he took his perch on Al's arm.

While the other species in the studio face threats of extinction, groundhogs, also known as woodchucks, are doing just fine.

They're also a safer bet for Tiffani's photo ops.
