Endorphins from exercise may make us happy, but this latest "Legally Blonde" update certainly won't.

Reese Witherspoon announced via Instagram Friday that her "Legally Blonde" character's beloved dog, Bruiser, has died.

Moonie, the real dog behind Elle Woods' pink-loving pup, lived for a long 18 years, according to his trainer.

Witherspoon's Instagram post read, "With a sad heart, I have to let all the #LegallyBlonde fans know that Bruiser Woods (also known as Moonie) passed away yesterday."

"He was a sweet little Chihuahua who was very loved," she continued. "I will never forget all the days we spent together."

Bruiser Woods, you will be missed, but we'll think of you each time we watch Elle Woods make her mark on Harvard.

For now, we hope you are teaching the other pups up in doggie heaven the ins and outs of the bend-and-snap!
