It seems that bath time for your toddler doesn't have to be such a struggle. That is, if your pet dog is willing to pitch in.
Briana Figueras recorded her family's 3-year-old pit bull, Gemma, smothering her 10-month-old son, Elliott, with kisses — and the giggles that ensued are adorable.
"She's crazy about him, so that's pretty typical around here," she told TODAY.com. "I just happened to have my phone next to me when my dog started licking my baby."
While the pooch is frequently game for fun with Elliott, she has also had her fair share of health issues, including severe swelling in her knees that makes walking painful for her.
Though Figueras manages Gemma's condition with medication on her more painful days, the family is hopeful that surgery will allow her to live without discomfort. In the meantime, Gemma's keeping herself occupied by keeping Elliott giggling away and starring in her own Instagram account.
"She's a great dog. She has a lot of energy," Figueras said. "You can't put a price on that kind of companion."
