Stephen “tWitch” Boss may have a glamorous career as DJ to Ellen DeGeneres, but he’s like any other dad when it comes to juggling work and time with his kids.

Boss and his wife, Dancing with the Stars pro Allison Holker, are raising 8-year-old Weslie and 2-month-old Maddox. While the couple stay “busy chasing dreams,” Boss told TODAY, they also have their hands full as parents.

“Finding a balance between all of the things we need to do...while introducing [our kids] to the work we actually do, is constantly, constantly, constantly a work in progress,” Boss said.

Fortunately, Boss knows the importance of taking time to “reconnect” with his wife amidst the chaos.

“Date night is a beautiful thing,” the DJ and dancer told TODAY. “Sometimes we like to go out and just drive and talk.”

However, Boss and Holker have an age-old problem: They can’t turn off the parent switch even when they’re enjoying a moment alone.

“The funny thing about it is, though, even when we’re out we’re still just talking about the kids,” Boss said.
