The Wanted singer Tom Parker has welcomed his second child, a baby boy, just months after being diagnosed with terminal brain cancer.

Parker, 32, and his wife, Kelsey Hardwick, both shared the happy news with their Instagram followers on Monday.

Bodhi Thomas, who was born in October, joins 16-month-old big sister, Aurelia Rose.

“Bodhi means enlightenment,” Hardwick, 30, told OK! magazine. “So it goes perfectly with our situation right now. He’s the light at the end of our tunnel.”

Parker, who is exhausted from chemotherapy and radiation, admitted it’s “tough” not being “as involved” as he would like to be with Bodhi.

“But hopefully in a couple of weeks when the treatment is ended, I’ll be able to be a bit more hands-on, which I’m looking forward to,” he said.

Parker revealed last month that he is living with stage 4 glioblastoma, the same cancer that killed Sen. John McCain in 2018, and Beau Biden, the son of President-elect Joe Biden, in 2015. The five-year survival rate for the illness is 22% for someone Parker’s age, according to the American Cancer Society.

The British band member received the diagnosis after he suffered a seizure in July and another one during a family trip six weeks later.

“We are all absolutely devastated but we are gonna fight this all the way,” Parker wrote on Instagram. “We don’t want your sadness, we just want love and positivity and together we will raise awareness of this terrible disease and look for all available treatment options. It’s gonna be a tough battle but with everyone’s love and support we are going to beat this.”
