One mom had an eye-soapening experience when her toddler accidentally broadcast her live on Instagram while she was showering.

Brianna Loos first shared the cautionary tale last month in a now-viral TikTok video.

Loos, 31, of Rochester, New York, told TODAY Parents that she let her 3-year-old daughter, Emery, use her iPhone to play a game.

“I was sitting there with her and she was just so quiet and content,” Loos recalled. “So I was like, ‘Oh my gosh, I need to take advantage of this. I’m gonna jump in the shower.’”

Loos, who is 38 weeks pregnant with her third child, barely had time to shampoo her hair before Emery wandered in asking for help.

“I thought an ad had popped up and she couldn’t get it off the screen, so I grabbed the phone to see what was going on,” Loos said.

That’s when a horrified Loos saw that she was live streaming.

“I was mortified and completely panicked,” Loos said.

She quickly ended the show and messaged a girlfriend who had been watching. With the help of her pal, Loos was able to piece together what happened. Emery was playing with filters and when she lost them, she came into the bathroom looking for her mom to get them back.

“Luckily, I don’t have a huge following on Instagram so not a lot of people saw me,” Loos said. “My friend said she heard me scream and saw my face. I honestly didn’t ask more more questions because I don’t want to know.”

Since posting about the incident on TikTok, Loos has racked up more than 1,000 comments.

“The comments are the best part of the entire thing. People are sharing their own horror stories,” she said. “One mother wrote that her child purchased 158 yogurt parfaits from McDonald’s using Grubhub or Uber Eats.”

And while that’s pretty darn funny, Loos’s video takes the cake.

As one person wrote, “CONGRATULATIONS! You Win. Not sure anyone can beat that one!!!”
