The blogger behind STFU Parents is going public (and, we can only hope, posting some scintillating Facebook updates).

Blair Koenig, who is childless, says her blog is "about parents who overshare and say ridiculous things on social media." Or, as her blog description puts it, "You used to be fun. Now you have a baby."

Uh, thanks?

As anyone who has perused STFU Parents can attest, she finds some pretty hilarious examples of parental overshare, and is right on when she skewers "mommyjackers" (who turn every Facebook comment thread into something about their own kids, no matter how inappropriate) and "sanctimommies" (who never let an opportunity pass to show off how they're so superior to everyone else). But if you're a parent, especially a mom, you might also find yourself getting a little annoyed. Who made her the Facebook police, and why are parents being singled out for oversharing? TODAY Moms previously suggested some other STFU ___— blogs we'd like to see, from the exercisers who are constantly complaining/bragging about their sore muscles to the rabid sports fans who fill our news feed with a play-by-play of the big game.

The New York Post declared her a "snark queen," while not to be outdone, the Daily Mail of Britain called her blog "vicious." Koenig, who now has a book in the works, says it's all meant in fun. What do you think: Is STFU parents funny, or mean?
