TODAY’s Savannah Guthrie visited "The Meredith Vieira Show" on Wednesday and not surprisingly, the conversation turned to baby Vale, Savannah’s adorable 14-month-old daughter.
With Halloween just around the corner, naturally Meredith had to ask what Savannah planned to dress her little girl as for the holiday.
The pressure is on for Savannah, as it would be hard to top Vale's ladybug costume last year — but a picture of Savannah, her husband Mike Feldman and Vale show the costume might not have been such a hit.

"It’s funny, because this year I thought, 'I’m going to get a great Halloween costume,'” Savannah told Meredith. “I’m such a loser. I just haven’t gotten it done. I’m doing the very thing that my mom always did to me that I said I would never do. Go in my closet and find something. I grabbed a tutu.”
Hopefully, Vale’s ballerina costume is more suited to the little one's style.
And as Savannah explains, it seems like Vale's distaste for her Halloween costume last year was totally out of character.
"She says 'hi' all the time. She says 'happy,'" said Savannah. "She's a total delight."
