It's back-to-school time for Vale and Charley!
TODAY anchor Savannah Guthrie posted an adorable shot of her two children in their backpacks as they got ready to head off to their first day of school on Wednesday.
Vale, 4, gave her little brother a hug and a kiss on the head before their big first day.
"My heart bursts (and breaks) to look at these two headed off to their first day of school!" Savannah wrote. "Thanking God this day and every day for my little dreams come true. #growinup #backpackpride"
The return to school comes after a fun summer in which Vale showed off her beautiful curls, made a convincing case for getting ice cream on a hot day, and celebrated her fourth birthday with a big party that included Jenna Bush Hager's daughters and Dylan Dreyer's son.
Savannah and husband Michael Feldman also fit in some end-of-the-summer family fun this past weekend before that first school bell rang by taking the kids to the boardwalk in Seaside Heights on the Jersey Shore.
Sorry the summer had to end guys, but have a great year in school!
