Barbara Billingsley, the storied actress who portrayed the iconic mom from 1957 to 1963, died on Saturday at the age of 94. In homage to the great lady, Frazier Moore of the Associated Press wrote a touching tribute, citing Billingsley’s contribution to the program as a cultural point of reference that had endured through the years.
