Think fast: When you hear the term “push present,” what comes to mind?

Nothing? Crickets? Awww, shucks, that’s OK — unless the woman in your life is about to give birth and she’s expecting a special gift for her efforts.

Granted, a baby is a pretty nice gift to get — and no one disputes that! — but some moms are eager to receive tokens of appreciation for everything they’ve just endured. Some push presents are small (flowers or fun snacks) and some are lavish (jewels or high-end handbags), but they all convey the same basic idea: “Thanks for being someone we could count on to deliver!”
