Prince George is excited for a very royal Christmas!

His proud papa Prince William revealed in an interview that Prince George is giddy with anticipation for the holiday, now that he's old enough to understand what Christmas is.

"George will be bouncing around like a rabbit," the Duke of Cambridge said in a rare interview with The Big Magazine. "If I get any sleep on Christmas Eve, it'll be good!"

The 31-year-old father of two also opened up about his family's plans for the holiday, which they will spend at Amner Hall with the Duchess of Cambridge's family, the Middletons.

"We'll go to church as a family on Christmas Day, as we always do," he said. "Then we'll watch George try to tackle his presents as he tries to unwrap them. It's a very different experience at Christmas, having a family of your own."

Prince William sat down for the rare interview with journalism student Sophia Kichou, fulfilling a promise he made to her four years ago when they first met, and Kichou was homeless.

At the time, during the prince's 2011 visit to a charity to fight homelessness, Kichou opened up to William about her dream to be a journalist. Prince William not only encouraged her, but then promised her an interview if she achieved her dream.
