Baby bumps are a sign of hope, but never more than on #BumpDay. Created in 2015 by parenting brand What to Expect, the #BumpDay hashtag and holiday encourage pregnant women to share pictures of their bumps on social media to raise awareness about maternal mortality.

Every day, over 800 women die from preventable pregnancy-related causes around the world. However, maternal mortality has decreased by 44 percent in the last two decades, due in part to the efforts of #BumpDay's partner organizations such as the International Medical Corps and the United Nations Foundation Universal Access Project.

If you're expecting or have pictures of past bumps, consider posting your own #BumpDay message! (You can also donate to support health pregnancies worldwide.) Below are some of the highlights of the second annual #BumpDay campaign.
