There comes a time in every new parent's life when they will need to find a babysitter who is not a family member or friend. Trusting a stranger to care for your children can seem overwhelming, so in this installment of TODAY's New Baby Basics video series, TODAY producer Patrice Poltzer and her husband, Olly Jones, share their tips for finding — and keeping — a reliable babysitter.

In TODAY's New Baby Basics, we tracked down the most-searched questions that new parents asked. And then we tracked down some answers! Find all of TODAY's New Baby Basics series here.
