Back in June, Bryan and Jenny Masche, the parents of sextuplets Savannah, Bailey, Grant, Cole, Molli and Blake appeared on TODAY on the third birthday of their little, blonde brood and expressed trepidation as well as excitement about the year ahead. “Terrible twos is a fallacy,” exclaimed Bryan - the real terror was still ahead. Oh how right he was. When the Masches appeared again on TODAY this morning, it was a dramatic demonstration of what havoc a six-member squad of easily-agitated 3-years-olds can wreak. Watch the clip below and gape at the sheer anarchy that unfolds. And imagine how Natalie Morales must have felt as she tried valiantly to conduct a coherent interview in the middle of it. Since the appearance, Twitter has lit up with comments. “Those #sextuplets they had on were out of control. I’m happy with my 1 son,” tweeted wesfelton. “Those kids = great birth control,” added SweetTeaNpearls. Melsilas was even less charitable, tweeting "Sixtuplets are BRATS and the parents need to learn to parent." That all said, it’s hard for your heart not go to out to Bryan and Jenny: they live through this sort of experience every day. How would you have handled this? Is what you see here indicative of your own experiences? Are the “terrible threes” really worse than the “terrible twos”? Share your thoughts in the comments section below.
