In honor of Mother's Day, we are shaking things up a little bit with our TODAY's Babies of the Week series... and adding mom to the mix!

As part of our series, we ask new parents what advice has worked best for them. And we always love hearing their different views.

This week, our favorite tips come from parents Themba Jones and Duane Bryant, and Elizabeth and Kurt Kolenda.

Jones and Bryant, who welcomed Israel Zari Bryant on June 15, 2013, say “Work together, communicate and take turns sleeping. Prayer doesn’t hurt, either.”

Amen to that.

Meanwhile, the Kolendas, who had daughter Landree Ann Kolenda on August 4, 2013, say: “Regardless of how bad the night was, those morning smiles are worth it all.”

Each week, Kathie Lee and Hoda select a few JOHNSON'S Babies of the Week to be featured on TODAY. And because your kids are way too cute to stop there, we choose more little ones for our online gallery.

Click on the “add photos” link to share your photo and be considered to be featured on a future show and online in an upcoming week.  Click here to see advice on the kind of photos we're looking for in this contest.
