Here's what a few TODAY Moms readers have to say. "Minivans rock" versus "I have not yet given up on life."
I have been having a love affair with my minivan for the past five years, since my oldest child was two years old. I "heart" my minivan! Now that I have three young daughters ages 1, 4, and 7, I can't imagine life without one. No other vehicle is made specifically with families in mind. And nowadays, minivans are so tricked out ... movie players, automatic entry, fold-away seats, etc. Mine has 17 cup holders! My favorite features are the sliding power doors and the roomy interior. On a rainy day, I can hop in the back seat, buckle my kids in and easily maneuver into the front seat without going back outside. My husband drives a fancy-schmancy sports car and he has admitted that he loves my minivan. So, face it ... minivans rock!

And con:
15 years ago, when I was expecting my son, my co-workers were convinced I'd have a minivan within a year. No way. I know they are practical, but there are other options! I have not yet given up on life. I've had a sedan, an SUV, and five years ago, I bought a Dodge Magnum with a Hemi engine. It's roomy, the hatch is practical, and it's fun to drive. Plus, my son is proud when I drop him off at school in what he calls the "coolest Mom car ever." Why don't Americans buy wagons? Sadly, Dodge no longer makes the Magnum.
