Days after tweeting that "not being able to hold my baby is absolutely killing me," Kristin Cavallari recovered from a car accident to snuggle her newborn daughter Saylor — and posted the adorable proof Thursday on Instagram.
"Morning snuggles with my girl," reads the caption of a photo of Cavallari, clutching 2-month-old Saylor close to her chest and chin. "First time I've been able to hold her by myself in a week."
Last Thursday, the reality-TV star and fashion designer was hospitalized after she reportedly dislocated her elbow in a Chicago car accident. According to E! News, none of the three children she had with her husband — NFL quarterback Jay Cutler — was in her car at the time.

A day before posting the sweet photo of her snuggles with Saylor, Cavallari shared another Instagram post, whose caption reflected on "everything else I've been through in the past couple months" — likely alluding, in part, to her 30-year-old brother's death, confirmed just days after Saylor was born in November.
"I have such an appreciation for life," reads the caption of a photo of Cavallari, smiling. "I am so thankful it wasn't worse, and more importantly that my babies weren't with me. My arm hurts like [crazy] but I'm thankful because I have my arm!"
