Embracing everything that motherhood entails while furthering a career isn't easy for anyone — even if you're Jessica Biel.
While appearing at a Tiffany gala, the mom of baby Silas — who turned 1 on April 8 — and wife of Justin Timberlake opened up about what Us Weekly described as "mommy guilt" during a Friday interview.
"[I felt it] like a minute ago," Biel, 34, told the magazine. "And about 10 seconds ago. And just now! I feel it all the time. It's hard to find that balance, you know, between working and feeling like an independent person and like a woman again."
Starring in the movie "The Devil and the Deep Blue Sea," Biel expressed similar frustrations in a February interview with the website The Skimm, whose Q&A was republished on her own Instagram account.

When asked to finish the sentence, "Woke up like this," the actress replied, "Disheveled, running late, doing too many things at once and underperforming all of them; but pretty thrilled about mediocrity! Could be a lot worse, guys. A lot worse."
Despite those pressures, Silas, who's been "crawling like a maniac," has been a source of entertainment, she told Us Weekly.
