The family resemblance between Jamie Lee Curtis and her late movie-star mom Janet Leigh has always been obvious. But the two never seemed like absolute look-alikes.

That is until Curtis decided to re-create Leigh's most memorable movie scene ever.

Curtis re-enacted her mother's terror for a redo of the famous "Psycho" (1960) shower scene, and the result is nothing short of amazing.

Leigh was 33 when she starred as Marion Crane, a woman on the run with ill-gotten funds who met her final fate shortly after meeting Norman Bates (Anthony Perkins).

Curtis, 56, channeled Mom-as-Marion for a special episode of her upcoming horror-comedy "Scream Queens," which premieres Sept. 22 on Fox.
