TODAY Parents is committed to sharing parents' stories in a supportive environment — that's why we created the TODAY Parenting Team, and that's why we've teamed up with the Mom 2.0 summit to be a media sponsor and to offer our very own award for parenting bloggers.
It's the TODAY Parents' Choice Iris Award, presented at the Mom 2.0 conference this year in Pasadena, California. This year the winner was Kristin Shaw, an Austin mom and freelance writer who has shared stories on the Parenting Team about surviving domestic abuse, her 'bad' sleep habit, the struggle to let go as children grow up, why she still carries her son and how to be the worst mother-in-law.
Shaw was one of six amazing nominees from the TODAY Parenting Team. They make us laugh, they make us cry, they make us realize that however we feel in this wild journey of parenting, we are not alone.
