For decades, “Sesame Street” has been teaching children both learning fundamentals like their ABCs and more overarching life lessons about love, life and family, making the program a beloved and invaluable learning tool in many households. Carrying on that tradition, “Sesame Street” recently unveiled a new video aimed directly at empowering children of color. Head writer Joey Mazzarino penned "I Love My Hair" to instill in kids like his own adopted Ethiopian daughter a positive message of self-acceptance.
