Have Colin Bower's sons been brainwashed?

It’s a story we’ve been following for weeks now. American father Colin Bower was finally granted access to his young sons, Ramsay and Noor, for what turned out to be a heartbreaking and brief reunion. After Bower’s ex-wife lost custody of their children, she allegedly kidnapped and smuggled them to Egypt over a year ago. In the ensuing months, Bower has tirelessly explored every avenue open to him to secure his sons' safe return. Following an entreaty on behalf of Bower by Secretary of State Hillary Clinton to Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak, a meeting between the father and his sons was finally arranged. Sadly, it was not a joyful reunion. In the wake of this meeting, Bower says he’ll continue to fight to bring his boys back home. Matt Lauer sat down with the father again this morning and asked if he was concerned that the awkward, evasive reception he received from his sons would persist even if he got them safely back home. Bower contends that the boys have been brainwashed and abused, but that child therapists would be able to help ease that delicate situation.
