After “16 and Pregnant” debuted last summer, MTV spun off “Teen Mom” to capitalize on the cast members' growing popularity. Now in its second season, the series continues to bring in huge ratings. Given the premise of the show, however, many are asking whether the appropriate message is being projected. Should the media be glorifying teen motherhood? Has the "Teen Mom" phenomenon lost its cautionary message?
