Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Peta Murgatroyd have reason to dance with joy!
The two "Dancing with the Stars" pros have welcomed a baby boy. Shai Aleksander Chmerkovskiy entered the world on Wednesday morning.
Chmerkovskiy and Murgatroyd both announced Shai Aleksander’s arrival on Twitter. The engaged couple hasn’t shared any baby photos yet, but fingers crossed that we’ll see one soon!

This is the first child for Chmerkovskiy, 36, and Murgatroyd, 30. They got engaged in December 2015 and announced the pregnancy last June.
They couldn’t wait to become parents — you could see their excitement when they posted pics from their baby shower a couple of weeks ago.
Earlier this week, Chmerkovskiy posted a photo of his fiancée in the hospital, preparing to welcome their bundle of joy.
Chmerkovskiy, who was partnered with Amber Rose on “Dancing with the Stars” last fall, has said that he will not compete on the show's upcoming 24th season. His son should keep him plenty busy in the coming months!
