Babies and the "Star Wars" franchise are often an unlikely but adorable pair — from out of this world photo shoots to adorable versions of Darth Vader’s dark theme captured on the baby monitor.
The latest tiny Jedi to go viral is a 2-week-old baby girl, who was soothed during a time of fussiness not by her dad, but by watching the trailer for "Star Wars: The Force Awakens."
In a video posted by YouTube user Bryan Laurel, the newborn cries inconsolably until her father takes out his phone and plays the movie trailer. Upon hearing the musical score and watching the characters on the screen, the baby stops crying, and even lets out a sweet, contented sigh as the trailer comes to a close.

“After talking, singing and making silly faces to calm my crying 2-week old daughter to no avail, I called upon the Force,” Laurel wrote in the post. “I'm proud to say... I am her father.”
