Ever since the dust of the sexual revolution settled (if, in fact, it has), establishing a work-life balance has been a top goal for parents.  Recently, the two highest-ranking officials in New Jersey (Governor and Lieutenant Governor) put their families before work when they chose to continue their vacation plans even in the midst of the December blizzard that hit the state.  Will the actions of two such prominent individuals prompt a more fundamental shift in the boundaries between home and work?

This story makes the 'twiblings' look downright pedestrian.  A woman in Poland recently gave birth to twins from two different fathers.  One of the twins was fathered by the woman's husband while the other is the product of an affair.  Should make for some interesting family reunions in years to come.

iPads: A revolutionary educational tool or just an expensive fad? Even in tough economic times, some schools are forking over big money for iPads for both student and teacher use.  Some say that there isn't any evidence showing iPads improve children's learning while others call them the biggest thing in educational technology since the overhead projector.  What do you think?
