Remember when you could count on Barbie and Ken to be a happy, steady couple? That was before all of the break-up, make-up, drama. Now, in an apparent effort to maintain a hold on her affections, Ken's gone and gotten himself a make-over. While he's a little less mock-able, he's also just not quite Ken....

In so many of the bullying stories one hears, it's hard not to wonder where the bully's parents are. Not this time. A father in Australia recently caught his teenage children bullying a younger child and promptly drove them to the police station and turned them in. This dad's hard-core because he's also selling a couple of their most prized possessions (car and horse) and will give the money from the sales to the victim. Unsurprisingly, he said his is not a happy home at the moment.

The burdens of being a first-born child - not only are they likely destined to be responsible, with Type A personalities, it turns out they're also more likely to suffer from food allergies.

When did children's birthday parties get so controversial? Should it be a small, eco-friendly affair with a suggested charitable donation in lieu of a gift? Should it cost tens of thousands of dollars and rival the upcoming royal wedding? Or, should you just pass a casual happy birthday wish over leftovers at the dinner table and forget the whole thing? Are parties for toddlers ridiculous, or is it important to acknowledge each year with some sort of celebration?
