Sorry, ma'am, but we only see dolls of two different races represented at your daycare, we're going to have to issue you a citation... Colorado is proposing new regulations for daycares, which could be the ultimate in "nanny state" laws. If the regulations are enacted, daycare centers would be required to display diversity in their doll collections, with a minimum of three races represented. Also, not only would whole milk be banned, but childcare providers would be prohibited from eating fast food in front of the children they're caring for as well. Building blocks shall be vinyl, crayons and paintbrushes shall number no fewer than five of each, and the shaking of heads at the new regulations shall be many.

We're not sure if we're more impressed with his dance skills or the fact that anyone this side of 1983 knows all of the moves to that dance to begin with.

Georgia recently released the findings from an investigation into Atlanta public schools, which found that 178 teachers and administrators in 44 schools had cheated on the 2009 state test, either by altering answer sheets or by providing inappropriate advice to kids. Now, the U.S. Department of Education has joined in an investigation into Washington D.C.'s public schools where teachers and administrators are also suspected of cheating on standardized tests. Now those are some role models...
