Crib notes: 9-year-old hero saves little sister from oncoming truck, nearly dies

Get your tissues ready because you're about to cry - in a good way. Nine-year-old Anaiah Rucker saved her younger sister's life by pushing the smaller girl out of the way of an oncoming truck. Anaiah was hit by the truck by herself and nearly died. When asked about her heroism, she replied, "I love her more than anything." Just try not to adore that little girl. With so much devastating news coming out of Japan right now, it's wonderful to hear a truly miraculous story of hope. A four-month-old baby who was literally swept out of her parents' arms when the tsunami hit their village and was buried in rubble for three days was found in good health. Even better -- both of her parents also survived and the family was reunited. Heart: warmed. Where's the baby? In the fridge, right next to the mayo. Sounds like child abuse, but it was actually a miraculous, life-saving measure. baby girl who didn't breathe for 17 minutes after birth was placed in a "fridge" for three days, a measure to stop brain swelling that resulted from complications during the birth.
