Christina Aguilera is celebrating her daughter's birthday with a touching message.
Aguilera — who shares 7-year-old Summer Rain Rutler with fiancé Matthew Rutler and is also the mom of 13-year-old Max Bratman, her son with former husband Jordan Bratman — also shared several photos, including a posed mother-daughter shot and some hilarious candids.
"We're celebrating Summer Rain all week and Leo lioness energy all month," wrote Aguilera, 40, on Tuesday in a caption filled with emoji. "Happy 7th birthday my sweet, thoughtful, funny, creative, soulful, vibrant spirit...time moves too fast but every year I'm so in awe of the beautiful human you are and continue to grow to be! You are so loved by all around you and inspire us to see the world brighter because of you and the special energy you radiate! Mommy loves you so much!"
The pictures show Summer doing everything from snuggling with her mom to showing off her missing front teeth.
Aguilera shared even more photos in her Instagram stories, including a snapshot of Summer under a description of her astrological star sign. The horoscope described Leos like the 7-year-old as "able to achieve anything they put their mind to" and "ambitious and determined, but above all, are celebrated for their remarkable bravery."
Aguilera didn't go into detail about what Summer's birthday celebrations looked like, but fans and friends filled the comments to wish Summer a happy birthday.
Aguilera doesn't often share photos of her children on social media, but seems to make an exception for birthdays and holidays. When Max turned 12 in 2020, she shared a sweet photo of herself, her son and her ex-husband with a caption celebrating how the pair make "blended families work." This past Christmas, she shared a "holiday photo dump" featuring herself, her kids and Rutler.
The former "Voice" judge told TODAY in July that while she's busy with work on two upcoming albums, she's still taking time to travel with her family and spend time with her kids.
"We do squeeze in family road trips and weekends when we can," Aguilera said at the time. "We take this trip to the East Coast to see our families, and it's wonderful to see family wherever in the world you are. We're excited to see each other now, on safer terms."
