Chris Pratt continues to be one of the most charming actors and dads around. Pratt told Ellen DeGeneres on Wednesday just how special he feels to be fathering his 2-year-old son with wife Anna Faris.

"It is really, very easy to be patient with this kid. He's just a remarkable kid," the "Guardians of the Galaxy" star said of his incredibly polite son, Jack.

"It's super frustrating because you're like, 'Alright, now. Jack, I think it's time for bed,' and he'll say, 'Hm, I thought about it and no thanks, Dad, not right now,'" Pratt told the talk show host. "He's so polite! What am I supposed to do?'"

But what almost brought Pratt to tears, he said, was how insightful his son already is when it comes to family. Pratt said during the holidays, he was explaining to his son that there would be a lot of people around.

"I was sitting down and I said, 'You know, Jack, there's a lot of people here and it's very loud and people are going to be having a lot of fun and there might even be some tension,' and he just said, 'It's family,'" Pratt recounted. "I almost started crying."

Pratt has spoken openly about his son, who was born prematurely in 2012, before. At a March of Dimes charity event in December.

"I've done all kinds of cool things as an actor," Pratt said at a March of Dimes charity even in December. "But none of it means anything compared to being somebody's daddy."
