It may not be Halloween yet, but it's time to start thinking about the most wonderful time of year: the holiday season!

Believe it or not, there are just about two months left until it's time to start giving gifts and spreading holiday cheer, which means it's certainly not too early to start shopping. Parents magazine has released a list of their top toys for the season. They put 50 children and their parents in a studio with 500 toys to figure out what kids really want this year. Liz Vacarello, editor-in-chief of the magazine, stopped by TODAY to share some of their top picks.

Fisher-Price Imaginext DC Super Friends Batbot Xtreme Playset, $66 (usually $110), Amazon
