Looks like there's a new Cumber-boy in the Cumberbatch house!
Benedict Cumberbatch's wife, Sophie Hunter, gave birth to a baby boy, according to a statement Cumberbatch's rep provided to People.
"Benedict Cumberbatch and Sophie Hunter are delighted to announce the arrival of their beautiful son," the statement said. "We would kindly ask everyone to respect the family’s privacy during these next few precious weeks."
The couple has not yet announced the name of their child.
The couple's rep also confirmed that the couple was expecting in January of this year.
The couple took an even more traditional route to confirming their engagement in November 2014, announcing the coming nuptials via an ad in the Forthcoming Marriages section of the U.S. paper The Times.
Cumberbatch and Hunter were wed in a church ceremony on Valentine's Day.
