It's a boy for "The Bachelorette's" Emily Maynard!
"God is good," reads the caption accompanying that picture, showing the adorable newborn snuggling up to his mom's face. "My heart can't even handle it."
The post does not reveal the baby boy's name. Two months ago, she said she and her husband, Tyler Johnson, were still mulling it over.
"Well, we are going back and forth," she told a Charlotte TV station in May, when she also revealed the baby's gender. "I told Tyler that [if] he gets to pick the last name for everybody, then I should pick the first name, and if he wanted to pick the first name, then it can take my last name and be a Maynard! He did not like that. So, we're still compromising."
Maynard also has a 9-year-old daughter, Ricki, through a previous relationship with Ricky Hendrick, who died in a plane crash in 2004.
Leading up to Thursday's news, Maynard had been keeping fans updated on the progress of her pregnancy on social media. A Jan. 9 Instagram post with the caption, "too much pizza," marked one of her earliest public announcements about her second child.
In March, a supposed "gender-reveal" cake wound up leaving fans in suspense for another two months.
Sweet photos from a maternity shoot, a wedding, and a car-seat installation measured the couple's pregnancy progress leading up to Thursday's big announcement.
