A onesie designed to give the illusion that the baby wearing it has a curvy woman’s body covered by a red polka dotted bikini is sparking outrage among some parents. , reports WMC-TV in Southhaven, Miss.
The onesie, manufactured by Bon Bebe, is sold at the department store Gordmans in Southaven, WMC-TV reported. Gordman's didn't immediately return a call by TODAY.com requesting comment.
But commentors on TODAY Moms' Facebook page have a lot to say.
"I think it's so cute. I had one for my daughter when she was like 4 months. Now I can't find one in her size, " wrote one mom.
But another wrote, "I like the arm ruffles but that's it. I wouldn't put one on my baby. Kids are oversexualized enough."
