TODAY.com is launching a new partnership today with Hip2Save, the massive couponing and deals website. If you're not already a fan of theirs, check it out -- who doesn't love a bargain?
The mom-of-three behind Hip2Save, Collin Morgan, has an interesting story: As a young military wife, she got caught up in a vicious cycle of overspending and credit card debt. (Depressed about your finances? A shopping spree will cheer you up!) She resolved to be more frugal, and started couponing -- and blogged about her journey as a way to chart a more responsible path for herself.
At first, her audience was just friends and family. But Hip2Save has grown to reach about one million readers a month.
“The light bulb went off and I said, ‘I get it! I get how to do this!’” Morgan told TODAY.com's Laura Coffey. “That’s when I became really passionate about it. I wanted to share this with other moms and show other people how to save money and use coupons correctly.”

(Full disclosure: I checked out Hip2Save last week and got sucked in immediately. The free personalized Elmo song was a big hit with my 22-month-old when we drove to visit family over the long weekend.)
